Body Contouring with Yaser 980nm
Laser-assisted liposuction: widely accepted and clinically tested.
Laser assisted lipolysis is a minimally invasive procedure for the removal of stubborn pockets of fat. It can effectively reduce areas of fat resistant to diet or exercise with minimal side effects than traditional liposuction. The procedure uses a laser to effectively "melt" unwanted fat and then either allows the body to metabolize the melted fat or uses "aspiration", a form of suction that allows the practitioner to remove greater quantities of fat.
How Does Yaser 980nm Work For Lipolysis?
The procedures were performed in the hospital, and the type of anesthesia was general, regional (epidural), or local with sedation, according to the extent and indications of each case. using a 0.9% saline solution with a temperature of around 4°C, and 1:500,000 epinephrine. The infiltration was performed preferably with the aid of a continuous pressure system at 150mm Hg, provided by placing the reservoir solution with a cuff pressure drop, to allow a homogeneous distribution during infusion with a 2-mm-diameter needle. A uniform deposit was performed only in the deepest layer, parallel to the muscular plane, to avoid tunneling the fat tissue. The infused volume was equivalent to the estimated volume drawn from each region. This infiltration technique took 7 to 8 min to infuse 1 liter into each decubitus, an ade -quate period for vasoconstriction.
A 980-nm-wavelength diode laser equipment was used in all treatments. A 2-mm-diameter rigid cannula with a 600-µm optical fiber was used to transfer energy to the tissues. The passage of the laser was initiated in the deep layers, with slow fan-shaped movements, at a rate of about 2.5 cm/s, from the incision, with application of back-and forth laser movements, always with the free control of the operator's hand on the treated region to maintain the distance from the end of the fiber to the surface. At the end of the outward stroke of each passage, the fiber end was maintained at a safe distance from the skin, with the aid of a red light display, in order to avoid injury. After the passage of the annula into the deeper plane, passes were made with the same care in the middle plane, and then the more superficial plane to the skin surface.
For body treatment, power was maintained between 18 and 22W, except in the submental region, inner arms, andthighs, where 14 to 16W was used.

Yaser 980nm Uses Local Anesthesia
Yaser 980nm is laser-assisted liposuction performed under local anesthesia, in which the patient is awake and aware throughout the procedure. The typical local anesthesia that is utilized is the highly effective numbing agent, lidocaine, which provides the patient with a virtually painless procedure. Local anesthesia is the safest form of anesthesia, decreasing risk of complication because the patient is awake and its effects last many hours post procedure, decreasing the need for narcotic pain medications after surgery.
Yaser is Minimally Invasive and Fat Cells are Melted
During a Yaser procedure, very tiny incisions (approximately 1/8") are placed in the skin, allowing a micro-cannula encasing the laser fiber to be inserted underneath the skin. The laser's heat energy simultaneously melts the fat cells and tightens the skin. The liquefied fatty fluid is suctioned out of the body.
The tightening provided by the heat of the laser results in smoother skin that gradually appears after the swelling has subsided, typically 1 month post-procedure. Final results are expected 6 months following surgery.
Yaser 980nm Downtime & Pain
Following a typical procedure, patients maintain mobility and are able to walk themselves out of the office. Patients are able to resume normal activities and return to work 1-2 days post-procedure.
Patients will need to wear a compression garment for 4 weeks post-procedure, but can resume low impact exercise in 3-5 days.
Patients should expect to feel sore for several days post procedure, however, the pain should not hinder normal daily activities.
Patients should expect minimal bruising and some swelling after undergoing a procedure, which will dissipate gradually over two weeks.
How does Smartlipo Yaser 980nm Work?
Smartlipo Yaser 980nm utilizes medical-grade lasers to create a light beam, powerful enough to rupture fat cells and then melt the fat without traumatizing the surrounding blood vessels, nerves, and other soft tissues.
As a form of Laser Liposuction, the principle behind Smartlipo Yaser is to melt the fat by the use of thermal and photomechanical effects. The laser wavelength 980nm is the key in liquefying the fat cells, help in coagulation, and promoting the posterior skin tightening. Bruising and blood vessel destruction is kept to a minimum.
Smartlipo Yaser 980nm laser liposuction is usually done in the doctor's clinic under local anesthesia & the laser actually makes any wrecked blood vessels to clot instantly, decreasing bruising dramatically. This process results in very negligible bleeding, bruising or swelling, making it the most sought after fat removal procedures among the adults.
Liposuction cannula helps break up fatty tissue so that it can be easily suctioned and removed from the body. Small precise oscillations allow surgeons to target specific areas safely without damaging the surrounding tissue. This technique is especially useful for treating areas with dense and fibrous adipose tissue.
Smartlipo Yaser 980nm laser liposuction is very effective at targeting stubborn pockets of fat in all areas of the body including:
* the buttocks
* hips and thighs
* abdomen and stomach area
* upper arms
* breast and chest
* neck and chin
* knees
Laser liposuction is a particularly effective treatment for sensitive areas such as the face and neck, where minimal scarring is preferred.Liquefying the fat cells before suctioning them out decreases the risk of contour irregularities. This results in a much smoother skin surface.

How many treatments will I need with Yaser 980nm?
For most patients, typically only one treatment is required. The session may last from 60-90 minutes for each area that is treated. Laser lipolysis is also an ideal choice for "touch ups" and revisions.
What body regions can be treated with Yaser 980nm?
Yaser 980nm is ideal for contouring the abdomen, flanks, thighs, saddlebags, arms, knees, back, bra bulge, and areas of loose or flabby skin.
What can I expect post-treatment?
After the anesthesia has worn off, you may feel the aches and pains that follow a vigorous workout. This is unlike in traditional liposuction where a patient feels as if they were run over by a truck. After the treatment, you will have some bruising and / or swelling. We recommend two days of rest following the procedure. You will wear a compression garment for two to three weeks depending on the area that was treated. You can begin exercising two weeks post procedure.
