Product Description

Laser hemorrhoidoplasty is considered a minimally invasive procedure for hemorrhoid treatment.
The procedure allows the patient to achieve the best possible outcomes with minimal discomfort, rapid recovery. The patient will return to daily routine quicker with a good quality of life.

Laser hemorrhoidoplasty is a relatively new procedure for hemorrhoid treatment in which the hemorrhoidal blood flow is coagulated by the laser. Prior to procedure, patients need to be anesthetized by the anesthesiologist. Subsequently, the procedure will be conducted by the coloproctologist / colorectal surgeon, the laser probe will be inserted into the hemorrhoids. Due to an intense amount of heat, the laser beam cauterizes and seals off the blood vessels, therefore the hemorrhoid will simply shrink while reducing the risk of excessive bleeding during and after the procedure. Since laser hemorrhoidoplasty is a
precise procedure, it leaves no effect to the surrounding tissues as well as the anal sphincters.

Laser hemorrhoidoplasty is considered a minimally invasive procedure for hemorrhoid treatment. The procedure allows the patient to achieve the best possible outcomes with minimal discomfort, rapid recovery. The patient will return to daily routine quicker with a good quality of life.

Theory

Laser ablation

The laser hemorrhoid ablation technique, otherwise known as laser hemorrhoidoplasty or laser obliteration, is well-established in the treatment of hemorrhoidal diseases II, III and IV grades by laser hemorrhoidal obliteration.

How it  works?

A laser hemorrhoid plastic surgery involves the introduction of a fiber, into the cavity of the hemorrhoid plexus and its obliteration with a light beam at the wavelength of 1470 nm. The submucosal emission of light causes shrinkage of the hemorrhoid mass, the connective tissue renews itself - the mucosa is adhered to the underlying tissues thereby eliminating the risk of the nodule prolapse. The treatment leads to the reconstruction of collagen and restores the natural anatomical structure. The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia or light sedation.

Our Advantages

Advantages of laser method

Unlike other methods, hemorrhoidoplasty does not require any foreign materials, e.g. rubber bands, staples, threads. It does not require any incisions and sewing. There is no risk of stenosis. The surgery and recovery time is shortened. Patients are not at risk of post-operative pain and can quickly return to their normal activities.

• No sutures

• No foreign materials

• No wounds or bleeding

• No pain

Why is it worth it?
The use of the laser ablation technique is more comfortable both for the patient and the doctor.
Benefits for the patient
• Painless treatments
• No risk of damage to the mucosa and sphincter
• Low risk of complications
• Reduction of tissue in the hemorrhoidal venous cushions
• Outpatient procedure or one-day surgery
• Short recovery time
Benefits for the doctor
• No need to cut
• Treatment without the use of rubber bands, staples, threads
• No need to sew
• No bleeding
• Low risk of complications
• Possibility to repeat the treatment

Why is 980nm 1470nm?
Triangelaser Minimally Invasive Laser 1470 Treatment of Piles/Fistula/Pilonidal Sinus Hemorroid

Laseev, emits energy at the wavelength of 980nm+1470 nm. The wavelength has a high degree of water absorption in the tissue with simultaneous effects on blood. The bio-physical property of the wave used in the Laseev laser means that the ablation zone is shallow and controlled, and therefore there is no risk of damage to adjacent tissues (e.g. sphincter). Additionally, 980nm wavelength has a very good effect on blood (no risk of bleeding). These features make the Laseev laser a safer and cheaper alternative to near-infrared lasers (810nm-980nm, Nd: YAG 1064nm) and far-infrared laser (CO2 10600nm).

FAQ

1. Which grade of haemorrhoids is suitable for Laser procedure?

Laser is suitable for haemorrhoids from grade 2 to 4.

2. Can I pass motion after Laser Haemorrhoids Procedure?

Yes, you could expect to pass gas and motion as usual after the procedure.

3. What shall I expect after Laser Haemorrhoids Procedure?

Post-operation swelling shall be expected. This is a normal phenomenon, due to heat generated by laser from inside of the haemorrhoid. Swelling is usually painless, and will subside after a few days. You might be given medication or Sitz-bath to help in reducing the swelling, please do it as per instructions by the doctor/nurse.

4. How long do I need to lie down on bed for recovery?

No, you do not need to lie down for long for recovery purpose. You can perform daily activity as usual but keep it at minimal once you've discharged from hospital. Avoid doing any straining activity or exercise such as weight lifting and cycling within the first three weeks after the procedure.

5. Patients choosing this treatment will benefit from the following advantages:

Minimal or no pain
Fast recovery
No open wounds
No tissue is being cut off
Patient can eat and drink the next day
Patient can expect to pass motion soon after surgery, and usually without pain
Accurate tissue reduction in the haemorrhoid nodes
Maximum preservation of continence
Best possible preservation of sphincter muscle and related structures such as anoderm and mucous membranes.
