1.How many treatments will I need with this machine?
For most patients, typically only one treatment is required. The session may last from 60-90 minutes for each area that istreated. Laser lipolysis is also an ideal choice for "touch ups" and revisions.
2.What body regions can be treated with this machine?abdomen, flanks, thighs, saddlebags, arms, knees, back, bra bulge, and areas loose or flabby skin.
3.What can I expect post-treatment?
After the anesthesia has worn off, you may feel the aches and pains that follow a vigorous workout. This is unlike in traditional liposuction where a patient feels as if they were run over by a truck. After the treatment, you will have some bruising and / or swelling. We recommend two days of rest following the procedure. You will wear a compression garment for two to three weeks depending on the area that was treated. You can begin exercising two weeks post procedure.
4.How quickly will I see results with this machine?
Results can be seen immediately with continued improvement over the next six months.
5.Is the machine treatment long lasting?
Yes! The Yaser 980nm procedure destroys and removes the treated fat cells. Adults do not create new fat cells. When a person gains weight, that person's fat cells simply expand. Should you gain weight, that fat will most likely be deposited in areas where the procedure was not performed.
6.Who is not a candidate for this machine?
Patients are not candidates for Smartlipo if they are pregnant or breast feeding, have insulin dependent diabetes; active or chronic liver disease or hepatitis; coronary artery disease; unstable hypertension; bleeding disorders; or are on Coumadin /Heparin. Those patients with immune related disorders such as HIV or who are allergic to Lidocaine are also not candidates.
