Tissue interaction with HOLA II DUAL 980+1470nm
Dual Diode Laser Technology in Orthopedics and Pain Management -HOLA II in PLDD .TREIANGELASER HOLA II features an innovative design for safe, effective and flexible use in all surgical disciplines. The system provides a wide range of minimally invasive and micro-invasive solutions to broaden your therapeutic options. HOLA II offers innovative features such as a specific and effective absorption of its wavelenght (980nm and 1470nm.)
Advantages Of PLDD Laser Treatment
It's minimally invasive, hospitalization is unnecessary, patients get off the table with just a small adhesive bandage and return home for 24 hours of bed rest. Then patients begin progressive ambulation, walking up to a mile. Most return to work in four to five days.
Highly effective if correctly prescribed
Processed under local, not general anesthesia
Safe and fast surgical technique, No cutting, No scarring, Since only a tiny amount of disc is vaporized, there is no subsequent spinal instability. Different from open lumbar disc surgery, there is no damage to the back muscle, no bone removal or large skin incision.
It's applicable to patients who are at higher risk to open discectomy such as those with diabetes, heart disease, decreased liver and kidney functions etc.
What is PLDD (Laser Disc Decompression)?
In the procedure of percutaneous laser disc decompression, laser energy is transmitted through a thin optical fiber into the disc.
The aim of PLDD is to vaporize a small portion of the inner core. The ablation of a relatively small volume of the inner core results in an important reduction of intra-discal pressure, thus inducing reduction of disc herniation.
PLDD is a minimally invasive procedure for treatment of heriated lumbar and cervical discs. It involves insertion of a micro-needle under X-Ray guidance into the disc nucleus. A fiber is then inserted through the needle and used to deliver laser energy to the nucleus. The delivered laser energy thermally evaporates excessive fluid reducing internal pressure and relieving back pain.
An innovative approach - using TRIANGEL Laseev 980nm 1470nm - is to treat the bulge itself rather than to vaporize the Nucleus Pulposus. The focused 980nm 1470nm wavelength results in a confined effect and an energy efficient procedure.
The PLDD procedure offer a minimally invasive altemative for relieving back pain. The procedure kit enables microsurgery precision, tactile feedback from the fiber, quick recovery for the patient, and use of only local anesthesia. The laser special features include portbility, ease-of-use, no maintenance or running costs, high reliability and stability.
