V6-VET 60 Laser therapy uses a targeted light to go deep into your tissues without damaging them and work on your body on acellular level.

All dogs, cats, horse have parts of their cells that produce energy, and when they are stimulated by the light from the laser it causes a change called "photo-bio-modulation". During that whole process, your body starts to release endorphins, stimulates injured cells to heal and also helps itself to relieve any pain sensations.

It also causes the production of ATP. ATP is the fuel and energy needed by cells for repair and rejuvenation.

The laser beam is moved over the skin so that the light energy (photons) penetrates the tissue where it interacts with various molecules (chromophores) that cause different biological effects.

What to expect from a laser treatment?

Most chronic conditions require up to 4 or 5 treatments in order to see a 50% improvement in mobility and pain reduction. Some Pets do respond positively to one treatment, but most DO NOT. The treated site feels better 12 to 24 hours after treatment. Laser Therapy energizes cell function, promotes healing of damaged tissue, and helps restore body function. Treatments are cumulative in nature. Length of treatments and frequency of treatment improve outcomes. Some illnesses such as ear infections or hot spots may only require one or two treatments, while more involved chronic issues will benefit from several treatments spaced out for a few weeks. Each condition and pet is different and our doctors will prescribe the amount and frequency that is right for your pet's needs.
