This highly compact diode laser features the combination of two wavelengths, 980 nm and 1470 nm offering a variety of tissue interactions. Each wavelength can be individually selected or blended together to offer the perfect desired tissue effects such as incision, excision, vaporization, hemostasis and coagulation of soft tissue with contact or non-contact delivery options for open and endoscopic procedures. Laser Use in Orthopedics & Spine

The Laseev Pro DUAL platform is based on the absorption characteristics of both 980nm and 1470nm wavelengths, which, thanks to its outstanding interaction in water and haemoglobin and moderate penetration depth into disc tissue, enables procedures to be carried out safely and accurately, especially in proximity of delicate anatomical structures. 

Microsurgical precision is guaranteed by the technical characteristics of the special PLDD laser fibers, which allow for surgical effectiveness, ease of handling, and maximum safety.
The use of flexible tactile laser fibers with core diameters of 360 micron in combination with the microsurgical PLDD enables a very precise and accurate access and intervention to sensitive areas like the cervical and lumbar disc zones on the basis of clinical therapeutic needs.
PLDD laser treatments are mostly used after non-successful conventional therapeutic options under strict MRT / CT control.

The PLDD procedure is performed under local anesthesia. A needle is inserted through the back into the area of the affected herniated disc, and a laser fiber is passed through the path of the needle, and the laser cauterizes a portion of the nucleus pulposus in the disc, creating a cavity in the nucleus pulposus and causing the disc to shrink.

1.Does the PLDD laser not burn discs?
The laser is applied to a defined area and does not burn through the intervertebral disc.
2.Can the PLDD method be used in conjunction with other methods like Cellgel, etc.?
The PLDD method works by burning the disc to reduce its volume, causing the herniated area to retract into the disc.
The Cellgel method, on the other hand, has the function of repairing the intervertebral disc, so the purpose of treatment is different. The recommended treatment depends on the diagnosis of each patient.
