Hemorrhoids (also known as "piles") are dilated or bulging veins of the rectum and anus, caused by increased pressure in the rectal veins. The hemorrhoid may cause symptoms that are: bleeding, pain, prolaps, itching, soilage of feces, and psychologic discomfort. There are many methods for treatment of hemorrhoid like, medical therapy, cryo-therapy, rubber band ligation, sclerotherapy, laser and surgery.
Hemorrhoids are enlarged blood vessel nodules in the lower part of the rectum.
What Are The Causes Of Hemorrhoids?
Congenital weakness of venous walls (weak connective tissue which may be the result of malnutrition), outflow disturbances from blood vessels of the small pelvis, sedentary lifestyle stimulates constipations which, in its turn, create conditions for hemorrhoid development and progression, as bowel movement requires a lot of effort and strain.
Diode laser energy delivered into small to median hemorrhoidal piles caused little pain and led to a partial to complete resolution within a short time compared to open hemorrhoidectomy.
Laser Treatment Of Hemorrhoids
Under local anaesthesia/ general anaesthesia, laser energy is delivered by radial fiber directly to hemorrhoidal nodes and they will obliterate from inside and this will help to preserve mucosa and sphincter structure to an extremely high precision. Laser energy is used to close off the blood supply nourishing the abnormal growth. The laser energy induces destruction of the venous epithelium and simultaneous obliteration of the hemorrhoidal pile by a shrinkage effect.
Advantage if using laser compared to conventional surgery, fibrotic reconstruction generates new connective tissue, which ensures that the mucosa adheres to the underlying tissue. This also prevents the occurrence or recurrence of a prolapsed.
Laser Treatment Of Fistula
Under local anaesthesia/ general anaesthesia, laser Energy is delivered, via radial fiber, into the anal fistula tract and is used to thermally ablate and close off the abnormal pathway. The laser energy induces destruction of the fistula epithelium and simultaneous obliteration of the remaining fistula tract by a shrinkage effect. The epithelialized tissue is being destroyed in a controlled way and the fistula tract collapses to a very high degree. This also supports and accelerates the healing process.
Advantage if using diode laser with radial fiber compared to conventional surgery is, it gives good control to operator, also allows use in convoluted tract, no excision or splitting Independent on the length of the tract.
Dual Wavelength Laser Diode: Most Versatile Laser in the Market
Laseev Dual 980nm+1470nm
Laser Haemorrhoids,a nearly painless minimally-invasive treatment for haemorrhoids
(1)The laser fiber is inserted in the centre of the hemorrhoids under direct vision.
(2)Each haemorrhoids is shrunk from within in a controlled manner, by means of laser energy. Blood supply to the enlarged haemorrhoids is cut off.
(3)Haemorrhoids shrink and slowly regress as a result of the treatment.

1.Can laser remove hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoid laser procedure (LHP) is a new laser procedure for outpatient treatment of hemorrhoids in which hemorrhoidal arterial flow feeding the hemorrhoidal plexus is stopped by laser coagulation.
2.What is the recovery time for hemorrhoid laser surgery?
The procedures are usually 6 to 8 weeks apart. The recovery time for surgical procedures that remove hemorrhoids varies. It can take 1 to 3 weeks to make a full recovery.
3.Is laser hemorrhoid removal painful?
Surgery is not recommended for small internal hemorrhoids (unless you also have large internal hemorrhoids or internal and external hemorrhoids). Lasers are often advertised as being a less painful, faster-healing method of removing hemorrhoids.
